Our Attorneys
Our downtown San Diego bankruptcy attorneys handle consumer bankruptcy
cases exclusively. We are one of the leading personal bankruptcy
law firms in Southern California, currently filing hundreds
of bankruptcy cases per year.
Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and Credit Card Debt
Chapter 7 Bankruptcy eliminates or reduces credit card debt, medical debt,
and “unsecured” debt. It may reduce or eliminate your tax debt. It does not
reduce child support debt or school loans. It takes about 4 months to complete
the bankruptcy process and you must attend one hearing and cooperate with a
Trustee appointed by the court.
Chapter 13 Bankruptcy and Credit Card Debt
Chapter 13 Bankruptcy reduces and reorganizes your debt so that you can repay some
or all of it through a plan of up to 5 years. If you have several hundreds
of dollars of additional income each month after paying your necessary
expenses, or if you are behind on your house payments, car payments, or
are "upside-down" on your car loan (owing more for the car than its worth),
a Chapter 13 may be a good option for you.

La Jolla
La Jolla is a wealthy seaside resort community of up to 42,808 residents within the city of
San Diego, California. Population figures are imprecise because La Jolla's borders are indistinct.
Generally the community's border starts at Pacific Beach to the south and extends along the Pacific Ocean
shore north to include Torrey Pines State Reserve ending at Del Mar, California.
Along the way La Jolla encompasses neighborhoods like Bird Rock, Windansea, the La Jolla commercial
"village", La Jolla Shores, La Jolla Farms, Torrey Pines, Mount Soledad and La Jolla Village
(including La Jolla Village Square).
